5.6.1 PLAYER Mode

Where a TAKE is loaded either by the LAST TAKE menu or by the BROWSE FILE menu, the SX-R4 will

switch to PLAYER mode and it reconfigures itself automatically with the same parameters as during the

recording of the concerned Take; Routing - Monitoring - Line Out - Headphone Volume etc.

The tables below show the actions of the Joystick and of the Toggle Switch:

LEFT Reduce the headphone volume in

LEFT while Playing PAUSES at current position STOP playing

RIGHT Switches to Record mode and start

recording (scratch record, see note

below)

NOTE: pressing the toggle switch to the right [REC] while playing a Take or at any time, the SX-R4

automatically switches back to recording mode and immediately starts recording a new Take

(Scratch Record). In this case the pre-record buffer remain empty, thus the pre-record time is

equal to zero.
